What Belongs on a Church’s Black History Month Page?

St. Charles Black History Month PageEvery year, I hope next year’s page builds on the year before. That’s where I’m looking for your help with ideas.

At St. Charles in Arlington, our Black History Month section features links to: the County’s list of local events, a local church founded by the African-Americans in segregationist Virginia, black popes, and mainstream Catholic sites on the topic. From our own parish site’s content, we highlight African American prayers, our Africa Outreach ministry and several relevant homilies from our pastor.

It’s a decent start, but I know you have some good ideas to add. What kinds of content should be on a church site for Black History Month?
